Now More Than Ever, Help Us Strengthen the Bonds Between Rhode Island and Israel
Dear Friends,
I am writing to you today because this is a difficult and important time.
Israel continues to face enormous challenges, and unfortunately, the strong relationships that have been built between Israel, Rhode Island, and the United States are also being challenged by seasoned politicians, aspiring politicians, and others who seek to weaken or destroy these important bonds. We are seeing growing efforts to isolate Israel through boycott and divestment campaigns, while overshadowing the positive work of collaboration, education, research, innovation, and business partnerships.
At the Rhode Island Israel Collaborative (RIIC), we believe the answer is not division—it is connection.
For nearly ten years, we have worked to strengthen ties between Rhode Island and Israel in academia, business, research, and innovation, creating opportunities that benefit both communities. Every student exchange, research partnership, business connection, educational initiative, and community program builds bridges instead of barriers.
Our upcoming July 30 community event is a wonderful example of what RIIC is all about—bringing people together, showcasing innovation, and creating meaningful partnerships that benefit everyone.
