Blue Tech and Aquaculture
committee
The Rhode Island Israel Collaborative (RIIC) has formed a Bluetech Subcommittee to drive sustainable blue economy growth through a robust Rhode Island–Israel collaboration. The group will promote innovation, research, investment, and policy exchange across marine technologies, focusing on ocean research, dual-use applications, energy, blue biotechnology, and investment opportunities.
The Bluetech Subcommittee will be chaired by Dr. Toby Stapleton, director of the Blue Venture Forum and a RIIC board member. The formation of this subcommittee marks an important milestone for the RIIC, which has facilitated programming and numerous connections related to blue technology between policy makers, researchers, industry leaders, and investors in both Rhode Island and Israel over the past seven years.
