Working together to empower Rhode Island's Hispanic-owned small businesses through web technologies
For RI-Based Latino Business Owners
The Rhode Island-Israel Collaborative (RIIC) and the Rhode Island Hispanic Chamber of Commerce have partnered with the Israeli-based web technology company Wix and Israel Consulate General to New England to help Rhode Island-based Latino business owners take their businesses to the next level. This collaborative project also includes funding from the Consulate General of Israel to New England.
What Is This Partnership All About?
This is a great opportunity for your business to increase its online presence. We are training local Hispanic college students who are fluent in Spanish and English to learn website creation skills.
Then, we will match Rhode Island-based Hispanic businesses with these students, who are pursuing degrees in design, business, marketing and web-based technology.
These students will work with your business and help you create a FREE custom website on the Wix platform.

The Details
We'll teach you the fundamentals of the Wix website-creation platform so you're developing in-demand job skills.
We'll connect you with a local Latino-owned business.
Together, you'll design and build a new website for their business on the Wix platform.
No previous experience in web design or site building? That's no problem. Classes and workshops are part of the program. This is a great opportunity to gain real-world experience while learning new skills.
Plus, you can win money!
At the end of the program, the three top websites will earn:
