The public attentiveness for medical use of marijuana, Cannabis Sativa, is fast growing. Especially now, as we witness a dramatic rise in the interest of scientists, clinicians, politicians and regulatory agencies as well as the media, it is highly important for the scientific community to judiciously study the possible beneficial use of this plant. Come and hear Professor Koltai, whose research is focused on cannabis for medical use. She and her team at the Agricultural Research Organization, (ARO) Volcani Center, Israel have established a scientific basis for the development of new cannabis-based medical drugs.
