Made In Israel: The Academic Innovation Driving Israel’s Economic Success

According to the World Economic Forum Innovation Index, Israel is the third most innovative economy in the world. What is it about the Innovation Nation’s ecosystem that makes it so impactful? How does academic technology transfer contribute to the economic stimulation within Israel? Dana Gavish-Fridman will provide valuable insights into how researchers and students at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (BGU) are translating basic research into valuable product development, thus contributing to, and impacting, the Israeli economy. Discover how BGU, through its unique vision and ability to bridge the gap between academia and industry, has found a way to be the anchor and driving force of immense regional development in the City of Beer Sheva and the Negev region.
